“What a fun and yummy evening! My partner and I were gifted a cooking class with Stephanie, and we decided to invite some friends to join us. The four of us all had different food preferences and dislikes, so multiple emails were exchanged to figure it all out. Stephanie was gracious and professional, while being completely flexible and rolled with every single modification and request we made. We spent the evening learning, preparing, cooking, eating, drinking and laughing! She totally rocked the appetizers and cocktails menu and we all walked away with full tummies and hearts.” ~Kim

HOW IT WORKS
Step 1: Save the Date
Decide whether you want to do an in-person class (in Stephanie’s kitchen or your home) or a virtual one, then choose and pay for a date on my calendar.
Step 1: Connect + Plan
Once you’ve booked your class, start thinking about what you’d like to make sure we cover. The week before, I’ll email you to confirm all the details—menu preferences, dietary needs, day-of logistics, vibe, all the things.
Step 2: Pick Your Plates
I’ll come up with a menu to fit your style, theme, and preferences—then we’ll go over it and make any tweaks necessary.
Step 3: Source + Prep
For in-person classes, I’ll take care of the shopping and setup, you just get ready to have fun and learn something new. For virtual classes—you’ll get a shopping and prep list once we’ve connected to confirm your class details.
Step 4: Show Up + Savor
For in-person classes, I’ll take care of all the prep so you can have a stress-free, joyful experience to remember. If you’re doing a virtual class, follow the prep instructions I send with your shopping list, and I’ll guide you from there!

COOKING CLASSES
What if I’m not a good cook?
No problem! These classes are designed to meet you where you’re at. No pressure, no perfection—just good vibes, great food, and a chance to learn in a relaxed setting.
What kinds of dishes can we make?
You choose! From homemade pasta and vegan meals to custom charcuterie boards and cocktail pairings, each class is personalized to your group’s preferences and dietary needs.
Can I host a cooking class at my home?
Definitely. I can bring the ingredients and gear to your kitchen—or you can come to mine in Burlington’s South End. Either way, I make setup easy and stress-free.
Are vegan or gluten-free options available?
100%! Every class is custom built to match your tastes, values, and dietary needs. We’ll figure all that out during our planning session.
How long is a typical class?
Most classes run about 3 hours depending on the menu and group size. We’ll keep things flowing with plenty of time to learn, cook, and enjoy your meal.
How much do your cooking classes cost?
$150/per adult, $80/per child under 12 (my kitchen can accommodate up to 6). Virtual classes are $100.
What’s your cooking class cancellation/refund policy?
If you can’t make your scheduled class (virtual or in-person), you’ll receive a full refund or opportunity to reschedule if you let me know at least 48 hours in advance. If you cancel 24-48 hours prior, you will receive a 50% refund. Same-day cancellations receive a $50 future class credit for each ticket purchased.
Please note: the week of your class, I’ll be in touch via email to reconfirm your class, menu, and other details. If I don’t hear back from you at least 24 hours before the class, I will consider the class canceled and remove it from my calendar. If you don’t see an email from me the week of your class, please check your spam or promotions folder, or email cookingwithstephanievt@gmail.com.
How many people can I have in the class?
Maximum of 6 if you’re coming to my kitchen. If we’re cooking in your kitchen, you can have however many will comfortably fit. Virtual classes are limited to 2 people per booking/screen.

Can I gift a class to someone else?
Yes! A cooking class makes a thoughtful and memorable gift. I offer gift certificates for birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, or just-because surprises.
What if we want to do cocktails/mocktails too?
Love that. I can absolutely give you drink pairings or mixology advice. If I’m coming to your home, I can show you how to make new cocktails/mocktails with what you’ve got on hand. If you’re coming to my kitchen, it’s BYOB.
